Finland lost its opening game of the Pepsi ICC Europe Division 3 Tournament in La Manga, Spain, yesterday. Finland scored 153 for the loss of 7 wickets in their 20 overs, but Spain paced their run-chase well and posted 157 for 6 with five balls to spare. There are, however, a number of positives to take from the match. For one, Finland's Manoj Achchige scored a fifty (including four fours and three sixes) and was the game's MVP according to the CricHQ scorecard, which you can view here online. Two wickets for captain Amrik Bhatia and two runouts by Zahidullah Kamal also bode well for today's game against Israel. | Click here for the full Match Report in pdf, including partnerships and wagonwheels. |
