All FCA club members need to be registered through FCA/Valo. Valo is the Finnish Sports Confederation, of which the FCA is a member. To be a licensed cricket player in Finland, you must register on the Valo registration page and pay your license fee. For players 18 years or older the fee is 35 EUR without the optional insurance and EUR 65 with insurance. The registration (and any insurance cover) is valid from 1.4.2016 to 31.3.2017. Please note that for members younger than 18, the insurance is compulsory. Please note that the insurance cover is both better and cheaper in 2016 than in 2015! Check that you got the correct license here. | For more information (including terms in English and a step-by-step guide for filling in the license form) please go to our license page. The corresponding Finnish-language page is here. |

All clubs are invited to participate in this event to see the best clubs and individuals of the season receive their awards. Our new partner Hardys is also going to give awards to the best players of divisions I and II and also present themselves to our cricket community during the event. Be there to honour the winners and to get to know our new partner.
The restaurant has a limited number of places. This is why at this time each club can at this point name only up to four representatives to this event. After this first round the FCA committee secretary will inform clubs of any available places that will then be given to all clubs hoping to have more participants. Your club main contact has more information. Please contact him. The FCA committee secretary needs the names of club representatives and menu choice (beef, chicken or vegetarian?) by Monday 31st of August. Any free places will be announced the following week. Topics to be discussed are among others: running and developing an ‘ry’ cricket club, AGMs & Committees, Accounts and Membership Fees, Ground Bookings and Wicket Maintenance, Developing an Umpiring and Coaching Capacity, Internal and External Communications. Supporting Junior Development. Hoping to have two representatives per club.
Your club main contact has received more information on the Forum so please contact him. The names of participants must be sent to the FCA committee secretary by Monday 31st of August. Communication with member clubs from latest 31.01.2015 onwards Due to continuous problems in ensuring that the FCA information reaches all member clubs, the FCA Board has decided that starting 2015 general information to members will no longer be sent the personal email addresses of club representatives. This issue was met with approval at the recent Club Development Forum. In the future all general information (for example announcements of rules, invitations to events or meetings etc) will only be sent to club "generic email addresses". A generic email address is of the type "lahtiCC@gmail.com” or “PoriCCcontact@hotmail.com”. Some of the member clubs already have this kind of generic email and they do not need to create a new one; for these clubs please just re-confirm the generic email for general contact that will continue to be used.
