Further to our request for club player nominations for the first ever Cricket Finland T20 Elite League (see original post details here), we received 45 player nominations for the remaining 26 places up for grabs. Thanks to all the clubs that sent nominations through!
Tournament selectors Andrew Armitage (NT manager), Nathan Collins (NT skipper), Yasir Quadir (NT coach) & Maneesh Chauhan (national U21 coach & NT player) reviewed at length the nominations, asked in some cases for more information and studied in detail statistics from recent seasons before coming up with their final decisions for the 3 squads. Congratulations to those selected and commiserations to those that missed out this time. We will still be keeping a close eye on performances during the season, so don't give up hope and keep training hard to impress later in the year. For those selected, we will be in touch personally to confirm your availability for the 3 dates. In the interim please make sure you have read through the original Elite tournament post above.
