Armitage continues as FCA President

The FCA AGM on Saturday, April 18, reelected Andrew Armitage as FCA President.

The FCA Board 2015-2016 consists of a President and five members. The following FCA Board members were elected at the AGM for the next two years:

President: Andrew Armitage
Cricket Operations Director: Maija Scamans
Secretary: Heikki Mahlamäki
Treasurer: Fredrik Lindahl
Marketing & Promotion Officer: Van Padhaal
Club Development Officer: Jo Hadley

Indoor League finalists

The final games of the indoor season are at hand: on April 24 Helsinki CC and Bengal Tigers CC meet in the Indoor League Final at Merihaan palloiluhalli as soon as Stadin Krikettikerho's Primadonnas (a.k.a. SKK 2) and Kerava CC have settled who gets the bronze. The fixture information is available in this pdf file as well. The results in the playoffs are available through CricHQ.

The FCA Annual General Meeting will be held at noon on April 18, 2015. The venue is Töölön ala-aste school in Helsinki and here is the meeting's Agenda. You can also click on the image to open the pdf file of the AGM Agenda. A copy has been sent in English and Finnish to all member clubs by e-mail.

Get your player license now!

All FCA club members need to be registered through FCA/Valo. Valo is the Finnish Sports Confederation, of which the FCA is a member.

To be a licensed cricket player in Finland, you must register on the Valo registration page and pay your license fee. For players 18 years or older the fee is 35 EUR without the optional insurance and EUR 93 with insurance. The registration (and any insurance cover) is valid from 1.4.2015 to 31.3.2016. Please note that for members younger than 18, the insurance is compulsory.
