Youth Cricket Camp 2014

Book your spot on the Finnish Cricket Association's Youth Cricket Camp at Kerava National Cricket Ground right now! The dates are June 9th through 13th and the camp includes 5 daily hours of coaching, training  and games - and the equipment you'll need is provided too. The camp is aimed at two age groups: 10-13 years and 14-17 years.

MCC Tour marks Pavilion Opening in June

We are experiencing some very exciting times for Finnish cricket: after seven years of dedicated work, the magnificent Kerava National Pavilion is literally days away from being ready for you all to start to enjoy!

The MCC Tour to celebrate this turning point in Finnish cricket history is now booked for June 6th to 11th and with some very special VIP honorary guests already confirmed (and more to come!).

Official Pavilion Opening Day is Tuesday, June 10th

The Official Pavilion Opening Day Celebration will be on Tuesday June 10th, so mark that date and the entire MCC Tour in your diaries, as throughout the week we want as many (all=!!) of those involved with cricket in Finland and around the cricket world to attend and participate, play, umpire, score, cook, help out or just come and watch and enjoy cricket in the most fantastic of surroundings!

Final National Team selections for La Manga

The final round of selections have been made for the Finnish team to leave for La Manga on Monday, April 28th to take part in a Pepsi ICC Europe Division 3 Tournament. In addition to the selections made earlier, the following players have made the team:

ICC Europe publishes Annual Report for 2013

Yes, 2013 was a busy year for ICC Europe, with lots of cricket activity going on in the European region.

First National Team selections made for Spain

After an excellent training camp at Kuortane last weekend, a first round of selections have now been made for the Finnish team to leave for La Manga on Monday, April 28th to take part in a Pepsi ICC Europe Division 3 Tournament. In addition to Finland, the countries taking part in the tournament are Belgium, Hellas, Israel and Spain.

The final members of the team will be selected over the next few weeks (i.e. before the end of March).

Congratulations to those chosen now and best of luck to all others fighting hard for the last places on the plane to Spain!
