YLE News at the grand opening of Kerava NCG

Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE's English-language YLE News were at the inauguration of Finland's National Cricket Ground in Kerava on June 10. Read an online report here and see their report from the ground here (inlcuing the toss for the Finland v MCC game played at the ground after the opening ceremonies).

T20 International, the self-styled 'premier website for Associates and Affiliates grassroots cricket' (an assessment we're inclined to agree with), features cricket in Finland in the Gallery of the Week in its April newsletter: T20 International Newsletter: preparing for the 2014 cricket season!!

In addition, the T20 International site has published a feature called 2014 in Finland: life at the Kerava National Cricket Ground.

The picture showing this year's lack of snow compared to the huge amounts of snow in February last year first posted on Cricket Finland's Facebook page a few days ago has reached The Guardian's cricket pages through a tweet:
