Fixtures and Results - SM Indoor Cricket League 2019

Please find below the 2019 Indoor League Playing Conditions. Clubs should ensure these are seen
by all your players, umpires and scorers, as soon as possible and ask them to read them thoroughly before January 4th.
Please note that no player may play for more than one team during the entire indoor league competition, including youth National Team U22 players. Also note that hitting the roof will now be declared "out". There are other changes to the rules, so please read them carefully. If you find any mistakes, or need any clarifications, please do not hesitate to contact LSC/Sean. The main regulations changes are to practical issues include being out for hitting the roof, removal of all references to LBW (that were in previous PCs by mistake), addition of a restriction that players may only play for one team, adjustments to the playoff rules, and additions to discipline rules (19, 20, 21).
Concerning rule 9B, the intention is that once the bowler has released the ball the fielders may move freely around the court until the ball becomes dead. From the start of the bowler's run-up to the moment the ball is released there should not be more than three (3) fielders in either half of the court.
Just in case it is needed, a further clarification is that when "half of the court" is mentioned in the regulations, it means the permanently marked court line that is located at the halfway point of the hall/playing area. This is a different location to the half-way crease which is midway between the stumps.
And please remember to be eligible to play, make sure you have purchased your Suomisport license for 2019 by latest Friday 11th January. Unless you aim to play soft-ball cricket only throughout 2019, then everyone needs the "Full League License" - for those who turn 18 by 31.12.2019, insurance is optional, but compulsory for U18. Go to our website License page or directly to Suomisport.
