Another first on our development map is a visit to London in July of a young Finnish girls cricket team from Töölö ala-aste school in Helsinki where our cricket development officer (and teacher) Maija Scamans has been running regular cricket classes. This promises to be a fabulous trip including a mini-tournament on the grass at Bromley Cricket Club and culminating in a once in a lifetime visit to Lords cricket ground on Friday July 11th where the girls will participate in an MCC event and demonstration during the break of the England v South Africa test match!
