SKK Sixes Tournament

Saturday the 6th of August SKK 10th Anniversary Sixes Tournament NB: The below information is not current for the 2005 Sixes, but it does explain the playing format, etc.

All games will be played on a 5 overs per side format, with 1 over per bowler allowed in the main competition and 2 overs per bowler in the plate. A copy of this year’s rules will be sent to all participants at a later date.

SKK are actively encouraging all interested touring teams to take at least a long weekend in Helsinki, and will provide as last year, cricket games for touring teams on Friday and Sunday as well as on the Saturday of the tournament.

As with previous years the organisers are giving touring teams the first chance to claim spots in the competition with remaining spots distributed amongst Finnish League teams. This year’s Finnish League will be contested between 12 teams, so we can guarantee all participants that the cricket will be competitive and played in a festival atmosphere.
